The Voice Kids Malta is coming? Rumors are spreading about the upcoming arrival of an international musical show

Is a Maltese version of The Voice Kids about to be released?

For weeks, music industry insiders have wondered if a Maltese edition of the international music competition will soon be announced after a number of indications emerged both online and IRL.

First, the Chamber of Commerce’s annual magazine featured a double-page spread on a number of shows produced by greatt, the company behind X Factor Malta, Malta’s Got Talent and Shark Tank Malta. In this ad, The Voice’s logo appeared alongside the other shows’ logos.

After that, Maltese singer Michela’s song Chameleon was covered by a contestant from The Voice Kids in Belgium, further strengthening the bond between the island and the show.

Now The Voice Malta’s social media pages have quietly appeared for a local iteration of the show.

“The Voice Kids is a children’s version of The Voice television series. Produced by Greatt Company Limited, this format will provide the perfect platform for kids to shine and launch their careers,” the show’s Facebook page reads.

Lovin Malta had speculated in March that a local edition of the popular show would appear after the Chameleon cover.

Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed by the producers yet, it looks like an announcement is about to hit the island imminently.

So, all young Maltese singers looking for the next big step in their career – it seems like a whole new avenue might appear soon enough.
