Screening of musical documentary ‘Bay Area Godfathers’ in Vallejo on Thursday – Times-Herald

The movie “Bay Area Godfathers” will screen at Project Vallejo at 350 Georgia St Thursday at 7:30 pm.

“Bay Area Godfathers” is the fourth title in the Inside Metal documentary film series. This documentary film follows the Los Angeles movie titles Inside Metal – Pioneers of LA Rock and Metal, LA Metal Scene Explodes and The Rise of LA Thrash Metal. Each title is in two volumes.

The film features in-depth interviews with Bay Area metal icons as well as many key players, including musicians, managers, journalists and label executives. “Bay Area Godfathers” covers the time from the late 70s to early 90s when the local San Francisco Bay Area hard rock and metal scene literally took the world by storm.
