On December 9, Paramount Hudson Valley Theater hosts River Towns Music Group’s second independent showcase at the venue. The show will feature four indie bands all in the rock’n’roll vein, including blues/rock, psych rock, indie rock and funk/punk. The fourth band, the opener, is to be determined based on a combination of votes from the audience and the October Battle of the Bands judges. The Paramount is a historic movie theater-turned-music hall built in 1930, with jaw-dropping ceiling artwork, pristine sightlines, and exceptional sound. Tickets for this event will go on sale in mid-October.

These events are made possible through generous sponsorships from local businesses who understand, as do residents, that events like these make our community a better place to live. As for the summer series, Ginsburg Development Societies is the presenting sponsor of Peekskill’s Fall Indie Music Series. Robinson oil is the stage naming sponsor for Battle of the Bands. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices River Towns Real Estate is once again the exclusive real estate sponsor while Ecology Energy is the exclusive solar sponsor. Local construction supplier Dainwood is the exclusive lumber outfitter. JuneShine Canned Cocktails will add some spirit to the sponsorship mix.

RTMG’s Fall Indie Music Series proves that live music doesn’t have to stop in summer. Come enjoy the wonderful sights and amazing talent that our Hudson Valley sliver has to offer. See you at the show!
