The Sounds of Summer in Solomon will return this year with the 2022 Waterside Music Series at the Calvert Marine Museum (CMM). The museum has announced that it will host three concerts this summer at the PNC Waterside Pavilion.
“We are delighted to once again welcome our sponsors, members and the public to attend concerts at the PNC Waterside Pavilion at the Calvert Marine Museum,” said Bonnie Barrett, CMM’s Director of Development. “We understand how much everyone appreciates their time at the Waterside Music Series, and hope this signals a return to normality in our lives. Our programming for 2022 is extraordinary.
First up will be Grammy-nominated Nashville band Old Dominion. The group will perform on Friday, June 10 as part of their summer tour.
Old Dominion is currently the reigning CMA and ACM Group of the Year. Most recently, the group won their fifth consecutive Group of the Year award at the 2022 ACM Awards and earned their fourth consecutive victory for Vocal Group of the Year at the 2021 CMA Awards. The group landed eight No. 1 singles at country radio, surpassed one billion on-demand streams, earned multiple Platinum and Gold single certifications, and headlined arenas and amphitheaters around the world.
Tickets to see Old Dominion go on sale for museum members on April 5 and for the general public on April 8.
Deale’s favorite native sons, the Osborne brothers, return to the CMM stage on Saturday, July 16. The Osborne brothers are currently on their We’re Not For Everyone tour, which hits over 50 markets including New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Dallas, Atlanta and more. . The singer/songwriter siblings won their fourth Vocal Duo of the Year trophy at the 55th Annual CMA Awards, in addition to being named ACM Duo of the Year twice. Overall, the Osborne brothers have won five CMA trophies and five ACM trophies, and are nine-time Grammy nominees, including nominations for Best Country Album (Skeletons) and Best Country Duo/Group Performance (Younger Me ) at the upcoming 64th Grammy Awards (April 3).
CMM members can purchase tickets on April 19 and April 22 for the general public.
The August 20 performer has yet to be announced.
