Samarthanam USA, India Association of Greater Boston, other community organizations and Juju Productions are hosting a music mega-event on August 20, 2022 at the Hanover Theater and Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Worcester, MA. This concert is part of the IAGB’s celebration of 75 years of Indian independence – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahatsov.

The concert features Maestro Vijay Prakash, Academy Award- and Grammy-winning singer and winner of multiple Filmfare awards, and Ms. Palakurthi. A group of 40 Indian musicians led by Kamlesh Bhadkamkar came to fly exclusively for the event.

Bostonians will fondly remember the team from their previous Anuradha Palakurthi concerts which celebrated the works of Madan Mohan in 2014, RD Burman in 2015, Bollywood singers in 2016 and BITS Pilani in 2018.

The concert will benefit the Samarthanam Trust for Disabled, India. Samarthanam empowers disabled and disadvantaged sections of the community across India through its specialized education and skills programs.
