Southtown garden The Good Kind will relaunch its weekly summer music series on Friday March 25, inviting artists from across genres to perform in its idyllic outdoor setting.

While the Southtown spot regularly hosts local artists – including soul and Munoz Brothers, powered by funkthe blues forward Chris Cuevas Project and 34K R&B Act – this iteration of his musical series will include more touring artists.

The series will kick off with South Africa-based acoustic band Carbonlily, fronted by singer Carla Fikes, paired with out-of-town band Sydney and the SAMS. Led by lead singer Sydney Sams, the funk and R&B group hails from Lafayette, Louisiana.
