Scott Barber’s feature-length documentary (The Orange Years: The Nickelodeon Story, American Clown) offers a stunning, deeply honest and personal insight into the world of these shocking pioneers.

Formed in Richmond, Virginia in 1984 – composed and operated by a frequently rotating line-up of musicians, artists and filmmakers known collectively as Slave Pit Inc – GWAR quickly established themselves as a heavy metal legend .
