Manistee Summer Music Series Begins June

Manistee’s annual summer music series, Shoreline Showcase, begins June 21. MANISTEE – Manistee Shoreline Showcase is set to perform its 2022 Summer Concert Series.

Manistee Shoreline Showcase is a non-profit, community-supported, volunteer-run organization that has been bringing “world-class acts” to Manistee since 2003.

This year’s concert series is scheduled to begin on June 21. All concerts are at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the First Street Beach Rotating Gazebo in Manistee. The inclement weather location is the Armory Youth Project, located at 555 First St.

All concerts are free, but donations are appreciated.

The Manistee Shoreline Showcase tour acts for 2022 are:

  • June 21: Bill Malones Jackpine Savages — R&B, blues, soul
  • June 28: Ted Alan and the Underprivileged — jazz, blues
  • July 5: Double Trouble: Mary Rademacher and Francesca Amari with the Mark Kahny Band — pop, jazz, show tunes
  • July 12: James Armstrong Chicago Blues and Soul
  • July 19: Greg Nagys Men of Leisure — blues, rock, soul
  • July 26: Bobby Murrays All Stars – Old School R&B
  • August 2 Planet D Nonet — Big Band, swing, show tunes
  • August 9: Robert Pace’ Natures Brew — Motown, funk, soul
  • August 16: Paul Nelson Band – Grammy-winning rock and blues
  • August 23: Eat-It-Up Quartet with Ellie Martin — energetic jazz and blues
  • August 30: Duffy King Koalition — Latin, jazz, rock, funk
