The documentary is said to include never-before-seen tour footage and will have psychedelic themes and effects that go hand-in-hand with Kesha’s legal struggles with Dr. Luke, her mental health and body image issues. In a press release, Kesha said:

“I hope this film inspires others to never give up even if you feel hurt or lost, because after the storm comes a rainbow. Depression, anxiety and mental illness are things we we all need to talk more, and there’s no shame in asking for help. Making the decision to work on yourself is the bravest thing you can do. I hope this film helps bring light and love to everyone.

Rainbow – The movie premieres on Apple Music on August 10.
