HSBC launched a music show “DuoVerse”, a live music show synchronized between the real world and the metaverse, performed in collaboration with two local singers Tyson Yoshi and Serrini.
The hybrid music show acts as an immersive crossover experience of live music across the real world and the metaverse featuring two of the most famous local artists. The show will take place on February 11, 2023 at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Center, as well as the HSBC Metaverse Stadium.
Users and audiences can simultaneously immerse themselves in the live performance in the real world and the metaverse, as well as feel the artists’ powerful voices while enjoying zero-distance interactions.
Additionally, users and the public can change their avatars’ outfits whenever they want for the most epic party look, and also choose to enter the best-dressed metaverse contest during the show to win special prizes.
Previously, in September, HSBC unveiled a series of virtual rugby quests in The Sandbox, to present an immersive and unique experience of the sport in the metaverse. The campaign coincides with the highly anticipated return of the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens from November 4-6 after a three-year hiatus from the tournament.
To celebrate the highly anticipated return of the Hong Kong Sevens, HSBC is hosting a virtual stadium in The Sandbox from October 24 to November 14 to activate its first community initiative there.
Audiences will be able to immerse themselves in rugby through six exciting quests that will take place in different locations around the stadium, featuring action-packed challenges, gripping mini-games and educational quizzes related to the sport.
