The 16 hour film has eight episodes and will air as two tracks of four episodes each, all on your local PBS channel. Confuses? We’ll break it down for you:

  • Episodes 1-4 air Sunday, September 15 through Wednesday, September 18 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST.
  • Episodes 5-8 will air Sunday, September 22 through Wednesday, September 25 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EST.
