Downtown Glendale’s live music series returns in February and will run through the end of March

PHOENIX – Glendale’s free live music series is set to return in February and will feature local artists in Murphy Park every weekend until the end of March.

Live! @Murphy Park kicks off Feb. 3 and runs Thursday through Saturday from 7-9 p.m.

A new act takes the stage each night at the Park Amphitheater located at 58th and Glendale avenues.

The full program can be viewed in line.

Several genres of music will be performed, including Latin, country, rock n’ roll, jazz, party hits and reggae.

The musical series also includes covers from some of the most popular bands and artists, including George Strait, Foo Fighters, Selena, Eagles, Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

On December 63, a tribute show to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, will begin the musical series.

Mariachi Pasion, an all-female mariachi band, will follow on February 4 before American roots and blues band The Sugar Thieves wrap up opening weekend on February 5.

People are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the music. Free parking will be available around downtown Glendale and in parking garages, the city said.
