Classic FM’s video game music show is back for a second series in November • Eurogamer.net

Classic FM has announced that its weekly video game music show High Score will return for a second series, consisting of six one-hour episodes, in November.

High Score will again be presented by Jessica Curry, BAFTA-winning songwriter and Everybody’s Gone co-founder at Rapture The Chinese Room studio. Its first and final episodes, which run on November 4 and December 9, will invite listeners to submit music requests, and the remaining four episodes will each focus on a separate theme.

The November 11 episode will feature “depictions of love” and “quests” will be the theme for November 18. “Voices spoken and sung in games” will be celebrated on November 25th and Jessica will select the best video game music of 2017 on December 2nd.

The first series of High Score aired earlier this year and was, according to Classic FM, the most popular program to ever air on its on-demand service “Listen Again”. Unfortunately, none of the original episodes are currently available to stream.

If you fancy tune in to High Score’s second series, it kicks off on Classic FM on November 4 at 9 p.m. ET.
