Brave Girls scores two more wins on music shows to establish streak with Chi Mat Ba Ram

Brave Girls won three trophies with their hit summer song “Chi Mat Ba Ram”. The streak began with SBS MTV’s “The Show” on June 22, where they won first place against EPEX and BamBam. The quartet went on to take first place on the July 3 episode of “Music Core,” followed by SBS’s “Inkigayo”. At both shows, candidates were “Next Level” from Aespa and “Alcohol Free” from TWICE. The Brave Girls have shown why they are “Summer Queens” this year as they achieve commercial success with the latest mini album “Summer Queens”.

Brave Girls debuted in 2011 under Brave Entertainment. The group returned with four members Minyoung, Eunji, Yujeong and Yuna. Long after their debut, Brave Girls saw sudden success when their performance for the 2017 song “Rollin” went viral on Youtube. This allowed them to gain popularity and perform better on the music charts. In response to the growing popularity, the group began to promote again. The girls later revealed that they were on the verge of going their separate ways before the success of “Rollin ‘.” The song gave them their first victory on a music show, which also broke the record for the longest time between debut and the first victory for a girl group. “Rollin” became a song by a girl group with the longest perfect all-kills. Their success continued with the summer mini album and title track ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram’. Even the band members themselves thought this song would feel good once they heard it during recording.

During this time, many artists, including Brave Girls, performed on the musical shows “Music Core” and “Inkigayo”.
