‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’ Movie Trailer Is Here and It’s Excellent

Bill S. Preston and Ted “Theodore” Logan are back for a great adventure and this time everyone’s favorite stoner brothers are ready to save the world while shaking middle age.

“Bill & Ted Faces the Music” picks up 25 years after the “Bogus Journey” sequel was discontinued. The greats had achieved global success with their band, Wyld Stallyns, and brought peace to the masses.

In the end, harmony has not been restored as it was supposed to be, and some futuristic beings are not entirely happy about it. Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) were supposed to write a song that would unite the world, but it never happened.

Fear not, however, for Ted, His Excellency, has a brilliant idea. “Why can’t we just go to the future when we wrote it?” genius. Bill and Ted then jump into a phone booth (because those still exist, one way or another) and head into the future.

Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who wrote the first film, “Excellent Adventure,” in 1989, wrote the screenplay. Will Salder is also reprising his role as Death in “Bogus Journey”. Kid Cudi and Beck Bennett (“Saturday Night Live”) make appearances in the film. Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine play Bill and Ted’s daughters.

The film is set to hit theaters on August 21.
