Baby Queen has released the first volume of their new show, Gameplay With Baby Queen, which is available via BBC Sounds.
The new show features game soundtracks chosen by Baby Queen, with the first volume available now on the BBC Sounds website, and it contains tracks from the The Legend of Zelda, Sable, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Each volume will be one hour long and available online for 30 days after release. The second volume “Boost your energy levels” is released on November 20. The second volume will include pieces of the trigger of a stopwatch, The last of us, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Baby Queen announced the new series on her Instagram, where she said, “I love video games (duh) and the score of a great video game is as powerful and essential to its success as a film score l is like a movie.”

She added: “Thank you to the BBC team for coming to me with the show of my dreams and giving me a reason not to feel guilty for the thousands of hours I’ve spent in front of a screen. The first episode is out now and you can listen to it on the BBC sounds app!!!”
Baby Queen recently appeared on the FIFA 22 soundtrack, which featured music from multiple artists ranging from big hits to smaller acts. When she spoke to NME about the project, she said “Fifa really should book a music festival.
In other news, Amazon Game Studios has announced that New World server mergers are “on the horizon”. This comes after some players found that their servers were not populated enough to access certain activities, despite a new wave of free server transfers. There are currently no details on when server merges might become active, or how they might work.
