Music fans and sound production aficionados will be thrilled for the new show.

Apple TV+ has announced a brand new music documentary on its streaming service, Watch the sound with Mark Ronson, a six-part series hosted by the legendary producer and DJ.

Best known for his work with Amy Winehouse and most recently with Bruno Mars, the show will see Ronson delve into the history of music production technology and how it has changed music.

Paul McCartney, Questlove, King Princess, Dave Grohl, Adrock and Mike D of the Beastie Boys, Charli XCX are among the well-known artists who will feature on the show, examining how these musicians have used technology to shape their sounds.

At the end of each episode, Ronson will also create a new song “using groundbreaking technology and techniques including reverb, synth, autotune, drum machines, sampling, and distortion.” The series kicks off Friday, July 30.
